The Gustave Glotz Center has relied particularly on the Cahiers du Centre Gustave Glotz to disseminate its research findings. First published in 1990 as a collection of contributions dedicated to a single theme (“On Power in Antiquity”), directed by Claude Nicolet (who was on the academic committee of the Cahies until his death, December 24, 2010) and published by Droz in Geneva. From the following year, the Cahiers were transformed into an annual journal published by De Boccard, then by Publications de la Sorbonne, and then again by De Boccard alone. The format was completely revised in 1996.

Issues of the journal include a thematic section, derived largely from UMR programs, and varia. Since 1996, the Bulletin of the French Society for Epigraphic Studies of Rome and the Roman World (“Société Française d’Études épigraphiques sur Rome et le monde romain” – SFER) appears at the end of the volume. The Cahiers also publishes the proceedings of the biannual colloquium of the SFER.
